Yesterday, His Excellency Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party visited the University of Nigeria his Alma Mater.
He visited both UNEC (university of Nigeria Enugu Campus) and UNN as part of his schedule for the Enugu Labour Party rally.
He was accompanied by Labour Party Chieftains including former Nollywood Actor, Kenneth Okonkwo and Activist, Aisha Yesufu.
He first landed in UNEC where he held a town hall meeting with the students and staff at the campus.
After that, he then flew to the main Nsukka Campus to see students at who were eagerly waiting for him at the Margret Ekpo Ref.
His reception at UNN was massive as students went wild with jubilation upon his arrival.
One memorable statement Peter Obi made at UNN was "UNN has produced many Senators, Governors and top Politicians. Now, we're about to produce our first President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."
